Booking an Appointment

Routine Appointments

The practice operates an appointments system for the doctors and the nurse. Appointments can be made at Reception, by telephone and in person.

An appointment with a doctor is for 10 minutes only and is for acute and long term illness.  It is very important that you advise us if you are unable to attend, as we can then offer your slot to someone else.

If you arrive late for your appointment, you may be seen, asked to wait until the end of surgery or to re-book your appointment. If you would like to have an appointment with a particular practitioner please inform the receptionist when making an appointment and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Registered patients can book appointments online at any time to see a doctor via the Patient Access system.  To use this service, you must register in person in the practice to obtain our Access Registration Letter

The local landline 020 3435 5602 is now running along side our 020 7472 5970 number for contacting the surgery.

Telephone Consultations

Many patients seemed to be unaware that telephone consultations are available. Patients should call the surgery as usual to make an appointment and request a ring back call from a GP at an appointed time.  Whilst every effort will be make to deal with the request over the telephone, on occasions the GP will ask the patient to come into the surgery.

Emergency Appointments

If your problem is an emergency, contact the surgery by telephone as soon as possible by 9:30am and explain why you would like to see a doctor urgently.

If you feel you can wait, then arrange an appointment with the receptionist.

If you do not feel it can wait you will need to explain why to the receptionist. You will also need to have a telephone number we can contact you on.

Please avoid coming down to the surgery unless you have an appointment. It is better to contact us by phone.

We will make every effort to keep you informed of delays. We appreciate your patience and understanding, as this situation can be stressful for all concerned.
